Democrats continue to lead Republicans in voter registration in Florida according to final registration statistics recorded ahead of next week’s elections.
About 4.7 million Democrats registered in time to vote in the general election, compared to about 4.2 million Republicans.
There are 2.6 million people who registered with no party affiliation in time for the election.
Democratic registration was up from about 4.5 million this summer, and GOP registration grew from 4.1 million before the August primary.
The biggest jump between the primary and general election, though, was in no party registration, which was up from 2.3 million in July.
