On Monday March 10, 2008, at 1640 hours the victim a white female 71 years of age was walking out to her vehicle from Bealls Department Store that is located at 8205 John Young Parkway. Mason stated a white female approached her from behind and hit her about her head. Mason stated the female then grabbed her purse and ran away to a vehicle that was waiting nearby. A witness saw the vehicle and described the driver as a white male who was later identified as Dennis Radzikowski. That witness was also able to write the tag of the suspect’s vehicle. The Female was described as a skinny light skinned Hispanic female, long black hair, about 20 years of age.
The vehicle with the victim’s purse inside was later recovered after the suspects abandoned the car at a subdivision near the intersection of Americana Boulevard and South Orange Blossom Trail. During the early stages of the investigation it was discovered that Dennis Radzikowski was wanted from the state of Alabama for felony larceny charges VOP. Members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Squad then arrested Dennis Radzikowski for the warrant on Thursday March 13, 2008 near the North Alafaya Trail and East Colonial Drive intersection. During a later interview with Dennis Radzikowski he admitted that he was the driver of the vehicle and he was aware the victim’s credit card was used by his accomplice to fill the stolen vehicle with gasoline.
