The Christian HELP Foundation and Central Florida Employment Council (CFEC) are excited to announce the unveiling of a new employment initiative this week. The Central Florida Jobs Initiative (CFJI) was created to connect area employers with qualified and job-ready applicants. This official introduction to the community comes on the heels of careful research and assessment of the needs and challenges of employers and job-seekers in greater Orlando.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 25th from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at ITT Tech in Lake Mary. Registered guests will not only learn more about the dynamics of the initiative, but will gain insight into the benefits of partnering with the program. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to network with human resource professionals and representatives of community agencies.
For the past 20 years, Christian HELP has been pivotal in helping transitioning professionals prepare themselves to re-enter the workforce. Along with it’s subsidiary, CFEC, employment candidates have enjoyed access to job boards, resume assistance, and employment counseling. The CFJI, then, will serve as yet another employment resource that aims to facilitate the job-search process.
