A man wearing a Brighthouse technician’s shirt, along with two other men, forced their way into a home in the Westlake Hammock subdivision in Kissimmee, robbing the occupants of money and property.
Kissimmee police say, the man wearing the Brighthouse shirt knocked on the door of a home in the 2400 block of Winfield Drive on Wednesday around 9:15 a.m. He was accompanied by at least two other men. When the female resident answered, the men forced their way inside, produced a handgun and demanded money.
The victim’s brother, who was also in the home, attempted to intervene and was struck with the gun and his hands were tied behind his back. The victim, her brother and three-year-old child were led to the back bathroom while the men ransacked the home. The suspects fled with an undetermined amount of money and property.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, 6’ – 6’4” tall, 150 to 170 pounds, 25 to 35 years of age with long brown/black hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a Brighthouse technician’s shirt, blue jeans and black ball cap.
