A man was shot dead at the Carlton Arms Apartment complex on South Rio Grande Avenue, on Saturday morning, Orange County deputies say.
A maintenance worker found the victim near the pond area just before 10:30 a.m.
Orange County Fire Rescue paramedics who responded to the 4444 South Rio Grande Avenue location, pronounced the black male deceased.
Investigators say, while the man has been tentatively identified, next of kin is yet to be notified.
It is unknown whether or not the deceased lived at the apartment complex.
The investigation is ongoing.
