Car Thief, House Burglar and Partner Arrested

At approximately 9:15 AM today Orange County Deputies responded to a call in reference to two young males kicking in the front door of a home at Bear Claw Run.  The homeowner advised she observed the two males repeatedly ringing her doorbell and, when she chose not to answer it, they attempted to gain entry into her residence by kicking the door in.  She yelled at the two young men which caused them to run away.

The victim was able to provide deputies with a good description of the suspects.  They began an immediate search.  During the course of the search deputies determined that the same suspects may have attempted a similar burglary at Antibes Court.  In that case, when they rang the doorbell at that home an 18 year old female answered it.  The suspects advised that they were looking for “Jennifer.”  The resident noticed that the suspects had backed a dark green Honda four-door sedan into her driveway and that one of the suspects was wearing latex gloves.  The suspects fled when the young woman confronted them however, she was able to provide the tag number of the Honda they left in.

As the search continued for the suspects, deputies learned that the Honda was stolen in the City of Orlando.  By working closely with the Orlando Police Department the suspect’s vehicle was located at Friendly Pawn Shop on East Colonial Drive, a short distance from Antibes Court.  Orange County investigators notified an employee of the business that the men in his store were suspects in two recent burglary attempts.  The employee advised that the men were trying to pawn a computer.

Several Orange County Units responded to the pawn shop and set up on the suspect vehicle.  Both suspects were arrested without incident as they attempted to exit the store.  The victim of the Antibes Court burglary attempt positively identified the two men as the ones she spoke with at her residence.

SUSPECT ONE:  Ramon Vigoa (07.02.91) – Attempted Armed Burglary to an Occupied Dwelling .  Mr. Vigora has been arrested numerous times in Orange County and has boasted of stealing over 300 Hondas.

SUSPECT TWO:  Mr. Vigoa’s partner was armed with a .38 caliber revolver at the time of his arrest.

Additional charges are pending on the two suspects.
