Investigators Search Retention Pond for Clues in Fatal Shooting

Orange County deputies continued their search for evidence and information in the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man ten days ago.

On Tuesday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team searched a retention pond located inside the Oak Harbor Apartment complex at 5770 Harbor Chase Circle, hoping to obtain evidence in the shooting death of 27-year-old Djasly Louisa.

Louisa was found with several gunshots wounds when detectives arrived at 5672 Harbor Chase Circle, just after 12:00 midnight on July 1st. Shortly after, he was pronounced dead by Orange County Fire Rescue.

Investigators say, Louisa was shot multiple times after an altercation with an unknown suspect.

Detectives are not releasing the nature of the items they are searching for in the retention pond.
