The Orlando Police Department and Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) will join forces to review the Michelle Parker missing-person investigation.
Parker, 34, a mother of three, went missing on November 17, 2011 and was last seen dropping off two of her children at the Orlando home of Dale Smith II, their father.
Since then, an extensive search by police have turned up Parker’s iphone and vehicle the day after her disappearance, but not much else.
Smith, Parker’s ex-fiance, was named the prime suspect several weeks after her disappearance.
OPD and FDLE will bring fresh eyes to the case. A press conference is planned for Thursday to discuss the Specialized Multi-Agency Review Team (SMART) being held in the Michelle Parker missing-person investigation.
