Join County Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell and “Strengthening Our Sons” Male Youth Leadership Program as they present a community town hall meeting entitled, “IN THEIR EYES: The Aftermath of the Death of Trayvon Martin.”
Commissioner Russell has collaborated with “Strengthening Our Sons” Male Youth Leadership Program; L.A.N.E.S. Teenage Girls, Inc.; Evans High School; and Monica May of Star 94.5 to provide this forum to the community to offer youth, parents, and Orange County residents as a whole a different outlook on how to unite and strengthen our families for the greater good of the general public.
Monica May of Star 94.5 will moderate a panel of experts in the field of youth psychology, law enforcement, education, and character intervention to address the fear, anger, and confusion from the perspective of our local youth, while also educating and equipping our parents and youth alike about critical decision-making, societal views, parental empowerment and the law.
