Vehicle Occupants Questioned Following Orange East Side Murder

A man is his early twenties was gunned down Thursday afternoon and Orange County deputies are currently questioning several persons that could be connected to the killing.

Just after 2:00 p.m. deputies arrived at 550 Chapel Trace Drive in Azalea Park, where they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Orange County Fire Rescue pronounced the victim dead shortly after arriving at the scene.

A small Sedan was seen fleeing the area shortly after the shooting.

Detectives were able to track down the vehicle and two of its occupants have been detained.

Investigators said, two occupants of a second vehicle near Curry Ford Road and Goldenrod are also being questioned.

The deceased has not yet been identified, but he is believed to be Hispanic and in his early twenties.
