Orlando Motorcyclist Killed in I-Drive Crash

An Orlando motorcyclist was killed after being struck by a bus on International Drive on Sunday night.

The crash occurred around 7:00 p.m., near World Gateway Drive

Florida Highway Patrol said, 21-year-old Sydney Pepper was traveling eastbound on I-Drive, when he entered the intersection to turn left onto World Gateway Drive.

A bus, driven by 35-year-old John Cirlo III, which was going west on I-Drive, was also approaching the intersection.

Cirlo was unable to stop and the bus struck the right side of Pepper’s Honda motorcycle, that had begun to accelerate.

Pepper was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.  He was not wearing a helmet.

Troopers said, the crash remains undervestigation.
