The West Orlando News caught up with Governor Rick Scott today in New York City’s Central Park.
Walking along Central Park West, and unrecognized by the throngs of tourists, Scott, casually dressed, was recognized immediately by a WONO staff member.
Scott, warm and gregarious, was pleasantly surprised to be approached by our staff member, who just happened to be in New York for a media conference.
When complemented for his performance on the Sunday talk show circuit where he discussed the Trayvon Martin killing, Scott seemed reserved, looked down, and commented that, “We’ve just got to get justice for this case, and we will.”
Struck by his warmth and sincerity, our staff member asked the governor for a photo, who happily obliged our star-struck staffer.
