Troopers are searching for a scumbag driver who struck two teens, leaving one of them in critical condition, as they walked Spring Garden Avenue in Volusia County, on Saturday.
14-year-old Julianne Hobbs, of Deland, is in critical condition at the Halifax Medical Center. She was hit last night around 9:35 p.m., by a hit-and-run driver, in an unknown vehicle.
Another 14-year-old, Rachael Russell, walking along with Julianne, was also hit, but sustained minor injuries.
Troopers do not have a vehicle description, nor do they know the direction in which the vehicle fled.
FHP said, the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
