Sanford Police are still trying to identify who murdered Dennis Williams exactly two years ago and will hold a press briefing later today to provide an update on the case.
Investigators say, Williams had just returned home on February 13, 2010, with his 9-month-old son, when he was confronted by an unknown man near his front door at 7 Castle Brewer Court, Sanford.
Williams was shot during the confrontation, but managed to get to a neighbor’s door for help.
Police say, Williams gave the baby to the neighbor and asked her to call his mother.
Williams was found at the intersection of 8th Street at Mangoustine Avenue and rushed to a local area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say, they are reviewing all leads in this case.
