Four Orange County men are among forty-eight child predators arrested in 17 Florida counties, following a six-month long investigation, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced Thursday.
The suspects from Orange County are: Anthony Chu, 24, charged with 10 counts of child pornography; 28-year-old Omar Gutierrez, charged with 2 counts of computer pornography; 62-year-old Paul D. Rains and 34-year-old Robert Lee Walker, Jr., each charged with 10 counts of child pornography.

FLDE said that while carrying out Operation Amalgamate, investigators found child sex predators in chat rooms utilizing instant messaging, texting, dating sites, social networks and even online classified ads.
Much of the success of the operation FDLE said was due to the merging of the department’s Computer Crime Center and the Attorney General’s Child Predator Cybercrime Unit, which allowed for more effective investigation of online child exploitation. The merger created specialized units within FDLE focused on investigating internet sex crimes against juveniles.
“The arrests in Operation Amalgamate show the strength of what has become one team with one goal – to find and arrest internet predators attempting to victimize our children,” said Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Gerald Bailey.
Other counties from which arrestees hailed included, Volusia, Leon, Pasco, Duval, Broward, Hillsborough, Miami-Dade, New Port Richey and Palm Beach.
What a bunch of baloney! FDLE missed the biggest kiddie porn “suspects” of all — a husband and wife team operating out of Bay Lakes and using their own two children! OC Sheriff has actual pictures of the Kiddie porn these two pass around on the internet including a picture of the father actually molesting his 3 year old daughter. The four they arrested in Orange County are small potatoes compared to the two Bay Lakes parents’ operation. What a waste of taxpayer money . . .
