A 20-year-old Orlando driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash early on Thursday morning, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash occurred on north Tanner Road near Kristenbright Lane in Orange County, just after 2:00 a.m.
Troopers said, Cody D. Head who was driving a 1999 Ford Ranger, lost control and failed to negotiate a curve to the left as he drove north on north Tanner Road.
Head crossed onto the southbound shoulder and struck a concrete utility pole. He was transported to Florida Hospital East, where he was pronounced dead.
Toxicology results are being awaited to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.
Troopers said, the crash remains under investigation.
