Orlando police are searching for clues into the shooting death of a man who crashed his vehicle early Saturday morning.
The crash occurred near the southeast corner of Gore Street and south Orange Avenue, police say.
The victim is 27-year-old Timothy Stewart.
Orlando Fire Department arrived at the location just before 2:00 a.m. on Saturday morning to render medical assistance to the victim, later identified as Stewart, when paramedics discovered a bullet hole in the back of his head. Emergency crews transported him to the Orlando Regional Medical where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they have no witnesses to this crime, nor are they certain of the exact location where the shooting took place.
Stewart was driving a 2010 silver Dodge Charger at the time of the crash.
Police say, the victim’s wife is 8 1/2 months pregnant with their first child.
