The search for missing Orlando mom Michelle Parker was stepped up even more on Friday as $50,000 was offered as a reward for information leading to her safe return.

Parker, 33, was seen eight days ago, last Thursday, by friends around 3:00 p.m.

Cheryl Jewer, a spokesperson for the volunteer group searching for the missing mother, told West Orlando News Online that the reward was increased by family and anonymous donors in an effort to encourage anyone with information on Michelle’s whereabouts to offer it up.

“There is a new reward of $50,000 that will be provided to the person that gives a tip that will lead to the safe return of Michelle Parker by mid-night on Sunday, November 27,” Jewer said. “We are hoping that by upping the reward, there is someone out there that might have seen something, heard something and they were too scared to call it in to Crimeline.”

Jewer announced the new tip number which is: 407-687-9740.

Asked what is significant about the Sunday mid-night deadline for information, Jewer said, “Michelle’s mom wants her home. We don’t want this to drag on any more; it has been eight days and we want her home.

Jewer also said, since the search began, about 60,000 flyers with Michelle’s photo and and the tip line number have been distributed in the Oakridge and surrounding areas where it is believed that the Orlando mom went missing.  About 10,000 flyers were handed out today to take advantage of Black Friday crowds and to get her face out there, she added.

Investigators said last week that Michelle’s cell phone was last detected in the Oakridge Road and Belle Isle areas and one week ago, her Black Hummer was located on the west side of Orlando. However, police said that her I-phone and necklace she was wearing at the time of her disappearance, have not been located.

Asked what did Jewer want people to know about the missing mother of two?

“Michelle is a beautiful, wonderful, caring mother, daughter, sister and friend of all these people out here, ” she said. “The community loves her, the people that frequent the establishments that she has worked at over the years love her and we all want her home.”

An Orlando Police Department spokesperson said, the $50,000 reward being offered is separate from the up to $5,000 CrimeLine Reward for any information that would lead to solving this case. Through CrimeLine, tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for this reward. Anyone with any information is asked to contact CrimeLine at 1-800-423-TIPS.
