“Think Pink” Run Raises Thousands for Breast Cancer Fight

The 2nd Annual “Think Pink” 5k Fun Run/Walk and health expo, hosted by the Dr. P. Phillips YMCA and Dr. P. Phillips Hospital raised over 7-thousand dollars to fight breast cancer.

The event doubled its attendance from the previous year with a total of 363 runners participating in the run. In addition, physician offices and healthcare companies from around Southwest Orlando participated in the Health Expo which followed the run/walk.

The event attracted survivors, women currently fighting breast cancer and supporters for the cause.

All proceeds from the event benefit Women Playing for T.I.M.E.® and MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.
