Deputies said Tuesday, Kim Wesela’s death was likely not a homicide, based on preliminary results from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Wesela’s was found dead inside Superior Cleaners at 2131 Americana Boulevard early on Monday morning. Wesela worked at the dry cleaners and was known to other operators of the business.
Initially, there was speculation that Wesela’s death may have been as the result of foul play.
Investigators interviewed Wesela’s boyfriend, Marshall Surrency and said, he is not the focus of the investigation, nor is he a person of interest. In February, Wesela was the subject of a domestic battery incident believed to have been carried out by Surrency, who was subsequently arrested.
Deputies said, additional reports are being awaited from the Medical Examiner before a final conclusion is made as to the cause of Wesela’s death.
Investigators are asking anyone who saw or was with Wesela the day before her death, is asked to call Crimeline at # 1-800-423-TIPS.
