Dr. P. Phillips Hospital Nuclear Medicine has been awarded a three year term of accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR), making it the leader in Central Florida.
Dr. P. Phillips Hospital Nuclear Medicine is one of only seven facilities in Orlando that has been awarded this distinction and it is the only facility in Orlando to hold accreditation in all three Nuclear Medicine modules: Planar, SPECT and Nuclear Cardiology.
This ACR gold seal of accreditation indicates that Dr. P. Phillips Hospital meets the highest level of image quality and patient safety.
This new accreditation is awarded to facilities meeting ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation by board certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field.
