Thirty five persons were arrested in a prostitution sting, Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies announced Monday.
Deputies said, the undercover prostitution operation was carried out over a two-day period, October 27-28, at the intersection of West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and Siesta Lago Boulevard in Kissimmee.
Various units participated in the sting, along with the Sheriff’s Office. These included: Robbery Unit, West/South Criminal Investigations Property Crimes, Narcotics Enforcement Team, Tourist Policing Unit, Gang Unit, Child Abuse/Sex Crimes Unit, Persons Unit, Communications, Reserves and Patrol.
The Sheriff’s Office said that the sting was as a result of complaints from businesses of illegal activity in the area.
