Vigil for victim, Murderers at large

The family of Mildred Beaubrun is holding a candlelight vigil for her on May 19, at John Young Parkway and Princeton, commencing at 7:00 pm.   Her life was abruptly taken one year ago in a senseless act of violence.

CASE INFO:
on 5/19/08, at approximately 0320 hours, the victim and two friends left the 7-eleven at colonial/ magnolia and drove westbound on colonial drive. they were approached by a vehicle similar to the one pictured, which was occupied by at least three black males. The Males in the car persistently and agressively asked the girls to stop and give them their the phone numbers. the girls refused and words were exchanged between the vehicles. When the girls stopped at the light at John Young Parkway and Princeton, someone from the suspect vehicle fired one shot into the victim’s vehicle, striking 18-YEAR-OLD Mildred Beaubrun.

The suspect vehicle, possibly a silver or gray chevy hhr, was last seen northbound on John Young Parkway from the scene.

Suspect #1 is the driver of the vehicle; Suspect #2 is the front seat passenger. the suspect in the back seat could only be described as a black male in his 20s. The suspects are believed to have just left the firestone club before this incident and might have followed the victim.
