Police Find Trove of Stolen Goods in Antique Store

Robert M. Caesar - suspect

A businessman, owner of an antique store in St. Cloud, was arrested Tuesday, accused of dealing in stolen property, police said.

Robert M. Caesar, 65, confessed to purchasing stolen items from a female suspect, which he then sold in his business, Caesar’s Treasure Chest.   Police said the woman also admitted she stole items and then later sold them to Caesar at his place of business, located at 1101 New York Avenue.

A search warrant of Caesar’s Treasure Chest turned up several pieces of jewelry, a laptop and cellular telephones.

Caesar was taken into custody and transported to the Osceola County Jail. He was booked on a $2,500 bond.
