No Children Injured in Orange County School Bus Accident

Troopers say an Orange County school bus collided with a car on Avenue of the Groves on Wednesday morning. No students were hurt.

The crash happened around 8:00 a.m.

There were 10 special needs students on the bus.

FHP say, the school bus, driven by 49-year-old Roseline Pierre, of Ocoee, was stopped northbound on Brackenfern Crescent at a stop sign, then attempted to make a left turn to travel west onto Avenue of the Groves.

Jordan Myers, 21, of Ohio, was traveling eastbound on Avenue of the Groves.

As Pierre turned left, the front Myers’ Lexus struck the front left of the school bus.

Myers suffered minor injuries and was taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital.

Pierre was ticketed for violating a right of way, troopers said.
