According to investigators, two tourists staying at a Quality Inn hotel on International Drive were beaten and then robbed at gunpoint after they answered a knock at the door Wednesday evening.
Officers say two Hispanic males forced their way into the room. The two men pistol-whipped the tourists, tied them up with duct tape then stole their Rolex watches and cash.
Guests staying at the hotel with 24-hour security and gates surrounding the property said they were all kept in the dark about what happened.
