An Orlando man is in critical condition, after a school bus driver entered the intersection on a red traffic light and the two vehicles collided on Old Winter Garden Road in Orange County.
Troopers said, an unloaded school bus was traveling westbound on Old Winter Garden Road in the left, through travel lane approaching the intersection of Good Homes Road, just after 6:00 a.m. on Thursday. 32-year-old Joinel Jorcelin, of Orlando, was driving the school bus.
Cang Trung To, 52, of Orlando, was traveling southbound on Good Homes Road in the left lane.
Witnesses told troopers that, Jorcelin entered the intersection on a red traffic light and the front of the school bus struck the left driver side of Trung To’s 2002 Kia.
Trung To was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.
Jorcelin also suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Troopers said, the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
