Orlando Police are looking for at least two people suspected of stealing copper wire from the Ace Hardware Store on Edgewater Drive.
The theft happened on July 25, just before 12:00 noon.
Police said two men entered the Ace Hardware Store located at 2445 Edgewater Drive, removed several spools of copper wire and stuffed them down inside the front of their pants. The copper wire is worth about $475.00
Surveillance video shows the two male suspects in the hardware store, as well as a woman. Attempts to confirm with OPD whether or not the woman was involved in the copper theft, were not successful.
Investigators believe that the same persons are responsible for stealing from other Ace Hardware Stores in the area. They were seen leaving the area in an older model (1990-1995) Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call Crimeline at # 1-800-423-TIPS.
