A man was shot and killed and another suffered non-life threatening injuries when the two were attacked on Saturday night, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.
The shooting occurred outside the Grand View Apartment Complex at 1761 Grand Pointe Avenue in Orlando, just after 10:30 p.m.
A witness told investigators that he was walking with two men when a black male suspect appeared and without warning opened fire, then fled in a vehicle.
The first man, shot in his upper body, fell to the ground and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second man who was shot, was able to run into an apartment and call for help. He was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators interviewed several witnesses, but have still not identified any suspect(s) in the shooting.
Deputies have not released the names of the deceased or the injured man.
The investigation is ongoing.
