Florida Highway Patrol arrested a Georgia man wanted for DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide and DUI serious bodily injury.
23-year-old James Jugovich was arrested after a month-long investigation of a fatal traffic crash that occurred on Arrendono Grant Road and State Road 11 in Volusia County, just before 2:30 a.m. in the morning.
Jugovich was driving a 1988 Buick Regal eastbound on Arrendondo Grant Road at a high rate of speed, when he lost control in the curve. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.
22-year-old Benjamen Anderson, of Deland, was killed in the crash. Jonathan Krueger, 22, was also injured.
Jugovich was booked into the Volusia County Jail on $10,000 bond.
