Thieves Target Rifles and Shotguns in Pawn Shop Burglary

Polk County Sheriff’s detectives are hunting for 5 suspects wanted in an armed business burglary at the West Coast Pawn business located at 42621 HWY 27 N, Davenport, on Saturday.

Investigators say, 5 unknown male suspects pried open the doors of the West Coast Pawn business just before 4:00 a.m. on Saturday and removed several items from the show room.  The suspects fled the shop in a silver Ford Escape or Explorer.

The items stolen were 5 Rifles, 4 Shotguns, 1 pellet hand gun, 1 Toshiba Laptop Computer and a 42 inch LG flat screen television.

Video surveillance showed the 5 white juvenile male suspects were wearing white and black t-shirts over their face. All 5 suspects were wearing black sneakers which appeared to be NIKE.
