A woman walking near Sanford Marina on north Palmetto Avenue early on Monday was abducted and found bound in a wooded area, Sanford police said.
Witnesses told police that just after mid-night they heard a female yelling for help in the wooded area behind Regatta Shores Apartments.
A search turned up a middle-aged woman whose hands and feet were bound, in the wooded area off Narcissus Avenue, police said.
The unidentified woman told police she was walking in the area of Sanford Marina on north Palmetto Avenue when she blacked out and woke up in the woods tied up.
Police do not have any information on a suspect or a suspect’s vehicle.
