Deputies have released the name of the man who was murdered on Orange County’s east-side yesterday.
Investigators found 22-year-old Luis Melgar-Briones’ body in a wooded area near Goldenrod and Curry Ford Road on Wednesday, just before 6:30 am.
Detectives believe that 19-year-old Michael Borgos and 24-year-old Juan Carlos Serrano robbed and killed Melgar-Briones.
Borgos and Serrano were arrested on Wednesday evening and booked into the Orange County Jail.
Both Borgos and Serrano have been charged with first degree murder and robbery with a deadly weapon. Serrano faces an additional charge of conspiracy to commit robbery. They are being held without bond in the Orange County Jail.
