A young boy died on his way to school, when he was hit by a pick-up truck Tuesday morning, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said, 10-year-old Anthony P. Moore was attempting to cross Lake Minneola Shores Road, near Oklhoma, when he was struck by a pick-up driven by 39-year-old Mario Alberto Saucedo, of Clermont.
Anthony was transported to the South Lake Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Saucedo, who was driving without a license, was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail with no bond.
Troopers said the crash remains under investigation and other charges are pending.
