Two men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed a Chase Bank on Tuesday morning, have been arrested.
Police said, two suspects, wearing hats, masks and gloves, entered the Chase Bank at 4355 13th Street in St. Cloud, and demanded money from the registers.
During the robbery, one of the suspects displayed a handgun, St. Cloud Police said.
The suspects were given $2,452 in cash from one of the registers, then the men fled the bank in a black Chevrolet. No one was injured in the armed robbery, police said.
A bank employee was able to get the license plate of the vehicle and shortly afterwords the car was located in a nearby apartment complex, St. Cloud Village Apartments. A search warrant executed at one of the apartments, led to the arrest of the two suspects.
54-year-old Vernell Holden and 34-year-old James E. Holden, Jr., were arrested and taken into custody. They had been charged with armed robbery.
A police spokesman said, the two suspects are related to each other.
