President Obama and White House officials are discussing whether or not to release photographs of Osama bin Laden’s corpse. And if that happens, the photo can come as early as today, reports ABC News Jake Tapper.
The photograph of bin Laden, sources said, is bloody and gruesome, with a bullet wound to the head, above his left eye.
There are concerns that the release of the photos could be inflammatory, through officials want to lay to rest any doubt that the nation’s public enemy number one, has been killed.
The Associated Press is also reporting that bin Laden’s burial in the North Arabian Sea, which was videotaped, might also be made public soon.
