Pizza Hut announced on Monday it will sponsor one million event admission tickets for Orange County secondary schools for the 2011-2012 school year.
All 19 high schools and 33 middle schools in Orange County will use the tickets for everything from sporting events to school concerts and stage performances. Ticket holders hold a special Pizza Hut coupon on the back of their tickets to use at Central Florida CFL Pizza locations.
The $33,000 sponsorship pays for the cost of printing the ticket stock and provides extra funding to support school sports and fine arts programs. Additionally, Pizza Hut will be the official sponsor of the pre-game “coin toss” at approximately 95 home varsity high school football games during the fall 2011-12 season.
Pizza Hut owns and operates 90 dine-in/delivery locations in Central Florida and employs over 1,700 employees.
