A 12-year-old girl who went missing on Tuesday, was found safe on Thursday afternoon, Orlando Police said.
Cherish Samani Gandy, 12, was recovered around 1:00 pm, in the area of Texas Avenue and Rio Grande, where she was staying with friends.
Police reported Cherish missing on Tuesday, after she was last seen walking out of Memorial Middle School, going to return a cell phone to a friend in the area.
Police offered no comment on why Cherish had not been in contact, but said she will be returned to her family.
