The woman who was beaten at a Baltimore County McDonald’s on April 18, has stepped forward to say, no one came to her assistance.
22-year-old Chrissy Lee Polis, a transgender woman also said, she is afraid to go outside, after she was attacked by the two black females.
“They just hurt me really bad, and I’m afraid to go outside now because of stuff like this,” Polis said, dailymail.co.uk reports.
Polis said she was attacked by the women after she had used the ladies room at the McDonald’s and believed that her attackers wanted to pick a fight.
“She started ripping my hair, throwing me on the floor, kicking me in my face,” Polis said.
Polis also said, McDonald’s staff stood by and did nothing to stop the abuse. She was punched, stomped and kicked repeatedly by the two women and suffered cuts to her face and mouth.
Since the attack, police have arrested the two women, one of them a 14-year-old.
McDonald’s has also fired Vernon Hackett, one of the employees who stood by and videoed taped the attack on his phone, but did nothing to stop it.
Police are continuing with the investigation to determine whether or not the crime was racially motivated.
The state attorney is also considering bringing hate crime charges.
