Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an attempted sexual battery case that occurred early on Monday morning, at a radio station in the area of Pine Hills Road and Alhambra Drive.
Investigators said a caller advised that while listening to a local Christian radio station just before 6:00 am, she heard a threat being made to the female radio host.
The female victim confirmed to deputies that while on the air, a black male suspect entered the building and attempted to sexually batter her, while making verbal threats.
Investigators said, the victim was able to distract the suspect and lure him outside the building. She was able to lock herself in her vehicle, after directing the suspect back into the building, deputies said.
The suspect removed property from the victim’s purse, while inside the building and left the scene on foot.
A sketch of the suspect has not been released, but he is described as a black male, in his 30s, approximately 6’4″ and of thin build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, light colored pants, with two inch twists in his hair.
