An Indiana motorcyclist was killed in Orange County early on Sunday morning after he struck a curb early on Kentucky Woods Lake.
27-year-old Monty Ashby, of New Haven, Indiana, was heading eastbound on Kentucky Woods Lane, east of New Hampshire Woods Lane just before 3:00 am, when his 2008 Suzki Mitsubishi hit a curb
Troopers said, Ashby was ejected after his motorcycle traveled off the roadway. He collided with a tree and a concrete landscape border and was found face down on the northern sidewalk of Kentucky Woods Lane East.
Ashby was pounounced dead at the scene.
Troopers are awaiting toxicology results to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.
Ashby was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, troopers said.
