Charges are pending in a crash that happened last Thursday which left the driver of a motorcycle dead. The crash occurred at the intersection of Lancaster Road and Jason Street in Orange County just before 6:30 pm, on April 7th.
Troopers said, a 2004 Chrysler, driven by 61-year-old Barbara Hutchinson was stopped northbound on Jason Street at the intersection of Lancaster Road.
Ricky Baggett, 45, was heading westbound on Lancaster Road on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when Hutchinson attempted to cross Lancaster Road and traveled into the direct path of the motorcycle.
Hutchinson’s Chrysler struck the right side of Baggett’s motorcycle.
Baggett was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Florida Highway Patrol is continuing with the investigation and troopers said, charges are pending.
