The strong winds and storms Central Florida has experienced over the past few days are likely to create extra tree and yard debris for Orlando residents.
To help our customers clean up after these storms Mayor Dyer has authorized the City’s Solid Waste Division to mobilize extra crews to pick up tree and yard debris in City neighborhoods this Saturday, April 2, 2011.
City yard waste crews will work on Saturday, April 2, 2011, across the City picking up bags, bundles, and piles of tree and yard debris.
These extra collection efforts, combined with regular yard waste routes next week, will assist City residents as they clean up from these heavy storms.
