This man has the unenviable “title” of being the dumbest bank robber in America.
According to law enforcement officers in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 35 year-old Daniel Rahynes walked into the city’s Metro Bank on Second street over the week-end and said to a teller that he wanted to open and account.
Rahynes then gave his name and handed over identification. This moron then announced it was a bank robbery in progress and demanded cash from the teller.
Police said, Rahynes then fled the bank with a small amount of cash.
Cops caught up with Rahynes when he was pulled over for suspected DUI and it was determined that a warrant had been issued for his arrest for the bank robbery.
Rahynes not only faces DUI charges, but more seriously bank robbery charges.
