The body of a woman who has been missing for three days is likely that of Michelle Dubois and Orange County Sheriff’s deputies believe that the mother of twins committed sucide. A suicide note was found and deputies say, there were no signs of trauma to Dubois’ body or evidence of foul play.
Dubois’ body was found by Sheriff’s mounted patrol units on Thursday morning along railroad tracks near her Belle Isle home in South Orange County.
Dubois, 36, had not been seen since the morning of February 7. Christopher Dubois, Michelle’s husband told Orange County Sheriff’s deputies that he left their home on Nela Avenue around 9:45 a.m. to take their three-year-old twin boys to daycare and upon his return about forty-five minutes later, his wife was gone.
Mr. Dubois also indicated to deputies that in the past, his wife sometimes would leave home following an argument, but would later return after a couple hours. On Monday, he told deputies that, they did have a disagreement, prior to his leaving home.
Orange County Sheriff’s deputies say, the manner of Dubois’ death would not be released until the medical examiner completes the autopsy.
