Man Uses ATM Skimmer, Scams 59 Accounts

Police would like the public’s help in tracking down a suspect responsible for placing an ATM skimming device at SunTrust Bank on 4582 Kirkman Road.

The device was discovered on November 28, 2010, and resulted in over 59 card numbers being compromised.

Around this period, several other skimming devices were discovered within Orange County.

Today, SunTrust released photos of a suspect that may be responsible for the fraud. The same suspect may be connected to the placement of other skimmers throughout the area.


Anyone with information should call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.  Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
