A Poinciana man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with the rape of a 13-year-old girl, Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Antonio Pena, 74, of Dorset Court, Poinciana, is in the Osceola County Jail, without bond. He has been charged with sexual battery, lewd and lascivious molestation and lewd and lascivious conduct.
Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies say, a 13-year-old female victim told them she met Pena at the bus stop on January 4, 2011, who asked if she was hungry, offering to take her back to his residence for food. At his residence, the victim told deputies Pena inappropriately touched her and made sexual advances, while asking her to remove her clothing.
According to the victim, Pena took her back to the bus stop and the next day approached her again, giving her his phone number and money.
The victim was able to take deputies to Pena’s residence.
Pena, who was brought in for questioning, cooperated with the investigation. Based on the information provided, Pena was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail without bond.
Deputies say, the investigation began on January 17, when a report of sexual battery was received.
