Deputies Search Home of Homicide Victim, Question Roommate

Teri Krall

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are preparing to search the home of the woman found floating in a lake near UCF on Saturday, while they continue to question her roommate.

Teri Krall, 54, who resided at 8626 Spring Cone Court, Orlando, was found floating in Lake Ruth, off Alafaya Trail and University Boulevard, near UCF, on Saturday, January 15.

Investigators say, during their initial investigation items discovered inside Krall’s residence produced probable cause to request a search warrant.

Krall’s roommate, Jereme Burke, is being interviewed, deputies said.

Krall’s death, which has been ruled a homicide by investigators, is the second to occur in the same residence.

On July 18, 2010, Barbara L. Burke, 57 years, turned up dead inside the Spring Cone Court residence.

Jereme, who is being interviewed by deputies, is the son of Barbara Burke.

The investigation is ongoing.
