DETAILS: Congressman Grayson will present a check to the Orlando Housing Authority in the amount of $3,582,587. The money comes from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. It will be used to modernize and develop public housing in Orlando. At the event, the media will have the opportunity to tour the facilities. People who live there will be on hand to give their thoughts on the need for improvements and the benefits of the work. Congressman Grayson and Director Bryant will also be available for comment. A list of projects to be completed and jobs created with the money will be provided.
