Troopers are investigating a car crash on Friday morning, which resulted in a BMW convertible ending up on the back deck a Crab House restaurant on Palm Parkway.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said that Suheil E. Jammal II, 46, of Orlando was driving his 2002 BMW convertible, westbound on I-4 around 9:55 am on Friday, when his car left the road at 8496 Palm Parkway and Apopka Vineland Road. Jammal told troopers he felt sick and was attempting to pull off the road onto the shoulder. The car broke through a fence, traveled through a field and around a retention pond. The BMW came to rest on the back of the Crab House Restaurant.
Troopers said that Jammal was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol played no role in the crash.
Jammal sustained minor injuries.
